As a main hub in our home, it’s no surprise that the living room is notorious for gathering clutter and looking messy.
Note what you have in this room and remove and distribute items you don’t need, use or like. Once you’ve done this, you can think about your decor and design.
Simple things like changing curtains, lamp shades, new cushions and rugs, can dramatically transform your living room. Removing wallpaper and painting walls a bright colour, can also make a huge difference. Switching the entire layout around also rejuvenates your living space.
My advice, as always, is to start with something easy where you will achieve success, that way, you will be motivated to do more. And remember to focus on one room at a time.
Pop out to your local furniture store to check out their styles and get inspiration. I was inspired on a recent trip to John Lewis & Partners in London Westfield White City and these styles caught my eye.
