How do I declutter and organise my bathroom?

It’s a question I’m often asked.

The bathroom can easily turn into a cluttered space of toiletries, cleaning products and bath toys, if left get out of hand.  With a clear system and regular routine, decluttering your bathroom can suddenly become so much easier.

Before decluttering and organising your bathroom, review your space and note the problem areas.  Do you have excess cleaning products?  Is your bath or hand basin area cluttered with toiletries?   Have you several towels on the towel rail?  Is your cabinet full of years-old items?

If so, clear out all your areas and decide what to keep and what to discard.  Get rid of anything old, out of date and partially used duplicates.  You will then be left with your core essentials.  Organise these into categories, keeping cleaning products out of sight.  Get into a routine of doing these little and often.

I recently helped a client declutter and organise her bathroom.  She now has a lovely, tranquil clutter free space.

Are you feeling overwhelmed by your space and don’t know where to start?  I would love to help you get the space you deserve.
